The odds of Junior Firpo arriving at Inter as part of a deal that would send Inter striker Lautaro Martinez to Barcelona are increasing according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

Barcelona have identified Lautaro as one of their top transfer targets and negotiations are ongoing between the clubs but there is some distance between the clubs.

Barcelona are willing to offer between €60-70 million plus a range of players, including Spanish youth national team player Firpo, who they value at €30 million. Inter meanwhile want Lautaro’s €111 million release clause paid or €90 million in cash plus a player.

Inter plan to overhaul their full back department this Summer and Firpo could well form part of the new look full back department but if he does not arrive at the club, the report from the Turin based newspaper goes on to claim that Inter could bring in Emerson Palmieri from Chelsea.
