Cagliari president Tommaso Giulini has shared his belief that Inter should reintegrate midfielder Radja Nainggolan into their squad next season.

The former Belgian national team player is currently out on loan at the Rossoblu club after he was judged to be out of the Nerazzurri club’s project this past Summer and he has managed to find his best form again whilst back in Sardinia during the course of this season.

“He has a great personality and Inter have already tried to sign players of his kind this year,” Giulini, who has been president of Cagliari since the Summer of 2014, remarked in an interview with Italian broadcaster TeleLombardia earlier on today.

He then added: “In my opinion, he would be convenient to have for all the top clubs and Inter would make a good deal to keep him.”

He then went on to admit that for the time being the club have not discussed a potential permanent transfer with Inter in the upcoming Summer transfer window.

“Otherwise, we will be there too. It depends on Inter, who holds the cards, and we have not yet addressed his future.”

In 24 appearances across all competitions to date, the 31-year-old former Roma player has scored five goals and has also provided half a dozen assists for his teammates.
