Inter full backs Danilo D’Ambrosio and Antonio Candreva are both set to be handed contract extensions with the club according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

Both players are currently under contract with the club through to the end of next season and will both be given a one year contract extension to the end of the 2021/22 campaign.

D’Ambrosio’s annual salary will rise from €1.8 million a year to €2.2 million as part of the new deal whilst Candreva will continue to earn €2.5 million a year.

Both players willingness to wait for their chances and not demand to always start as well as their daily hard work in training has convinced club management to keep them around at the club for a further year.

This season D’Ambrosio has made 18 appearances across all competitions to date in which he has scored a single goal. Candreva has meanwhile scored four goals and tallied six assists in 26 appearances.
