Former Inter captain and current club vice president Javier Zanetti has taken to photo sharing social media platform Instagram to celebrate the one year anniversary of his induction into the Italian football hall of fame.

Zanetti spent nearly the entirety of his playing career in Italy and spent no less than 19 years on Inter’s books between 1995 and 2014, when he retired.

The former Argentine international made a club record 858 appearances across all competitions for the club and won several trophies.

“A year ago I joined the hall of fame of Italian football. It was an honour for me to join this list of great foreign players in Italy,” he posted.
