Paris Saint-Germain have made an offer of €50 million plus €10 million in add-ons to Inter for Mauro Icardi according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia aired moments ago.

The 27-year-old Argentine is currently out on loan at the French capital city club and has been since this past Summer.

As part of the agreement between Inter and Paris Saint Germain, the recently crowned French champions have an option to sign him for €70 million but are seeking a discount on the former Sampdoria player as shown by the offer they have made.

It is as yet unclear what Inter think of the proposal but reports elsewhere in the media have suggested that the Nerazzurri want to avoid Icardi returning to the club at all costs.

The report from Sky Sport Italia goes on to add that the two clubs could come to an agreement to extend the current purchase option but in order for this to happen Icardi will have to give his blessing.

Whilst at the Parc des Princes club, Icardi has made 31 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored 20 goals and tallied four assists.
