Paris Saint Germain’s Edinson Cavani has told Inter he would accept a two year deal with an annual salary of €8 million according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset which was aired moments ago.

The Uruguayan national team striker’s current contract with the French capital city club is due to expire at the end of next month and he looks set to depart the Parc des Princes side after seven years of service.

Inter, who are in for him regardless of what happens with Lautaro Martinez, are not alone in courting the 33-year-old forward though with many reports elsewhere in the media stating that Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid are also very interest in signing him.

This season Cavani has found his playing time reduced due to Paris Saint Germain’s wealth of attacking options and in 22 appearances across all competitions to date, he has scored seven goals and has provided three assists for his teammates.
