The report details how the 22-year-old Argentine striker, who is contracted to the Nerazzurri until the end of June 2023, is likely to be sold to Barcelona in the upcoming summer transfer window, with the Catalan side working hard to secure a deal for Lautaro.

One of the most exciting players on Inter’s list of replacements is Timo Werner, who is heavily wanted by Liverpool but is one of the most lethal strikers in the Bundesliga.

Other targets include Paris Saint-Germain forward Edinson Cavani, who will be a free agent at the end of this season, the report continues.

Talks are ongoing between the parties with the former Napoli striker’s wage demand’s of €10 million net per season deemed as excessive by the Nerazzurri who are offering him wages on par with current club top earners Christian Eriksen and Romelu Lukaku on €7,5 million net per season.

Another top target is Fiorentina talisman Federico Chiesa, but the player will cost a lot and is also wanted by Juventus. The Nerazzurri will look to fund these deals with the money earnt from the sales of Lautaro and Icardi.
