Torino are seriously interested in signing Genoa striker Andrea Pinamonti, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

The report details how the 21-year-old Italian is a product of Inter’s youth system and was sent out to Genoa last summer on a loan deal which had a buy obligation attached, should certain conditions be met, which they were. As per the agreement with Genoa, however, Inter will purchase the player back in the summer.

Torino have been following Pinamonti for some time now, the report continues, and the club’s sporting director Davide Vagnati previously wanted the player whilst he was working with SPAL. Pinamonti would be able to play as a replacement or alongside talismanic forward Andrea Belotti, being a strong option for the Granata.

Pinamonti has made 22 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1585 minutes. In that time, he has scored four goals and provided three assists.
