Inter and Atletico Madrid are very keen on signing Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani, according to a report from Italian media outlet PassioneInter.com earlier today.

The report details how the Spanish club have been looking to sign the 33-year-old Uruguayan striker for some time now. Diego Simeone’s team have been talking to the player for months now but no final decision has been made yet by the former Napoli and Palermo striker.

Inter have prepared a three-year contract for Cavani, the report continues, and have heated up their interest in the player when it became likely that Lautaro Martinez would be sold to Barcelona in the summer.

Napoli is also interested, the report continues, but may not be able to meet his high demands. Other clubs around the world are also interested, like Boca Juniors and teams in both Japan and the United Arab Emirates, as well as the United States. Cavani, however, wants to stay in Europe and play in the Champions League.
