Inter and Juventus are the main contenders to sign Brescia starlet Sandro Tonali despite interest from AC Milan, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain, according to a report from Italian media outlet FcInterNews earlier today.

The report details how neither the Nerazzurri nor Bianconeri want to pay the requested €50 million, and instead would prefer to pay €30-35 million and may look to include players in the deal to lower the overall cost.

One Inter player that Brescia like is 20-year-old Belgian midfielder Xian Emmers. Talks between the two clubs are ongoing and the Nerazzurri believe that Tonali would be the perfect player for coach Antonio Conte’s project.

Tonali will have to fight for a spot with the Nerazzurri should he sign, the report continues, considering the number of midfielders currently playing for the Nerazzurri, with players like Stefano Sensi, Nicolo Barella, Marcelo Brozovic, Christian Eriksen, Roberto Gagliardini and Matias Vecino.

However, several reports across Italy have suggested that Vecino and Gagliardini could be on their way out to make way for the youngster.
