Manchester United have asked Inter for Milan Skriniar in exchange for French midfielder Paul Pogba, but the Nerazzurri have refused, according to a report from Italian journalist Paolo Paganini on Twitter today.

The report details how the Red Devils are searching for a new home for the 2018 World Cup winner, who’s time in England has seemingly come to an end. Both Juventus and Inter are keen to sign Pogba, who has experience playing in the Italian top-flight for the Bianconeri.

Manchester United highlighted Douglas Costa, Adrien Rabiot and Aaron Ramsey as players they like from Juventus, the report continues, and would be happy to do a swap deal with one or more of those players.

On the other hand, the Red Devils specifically identified Skriniar as their preferred option, but the Nerazzurri have no interest in losing the 25-year-old Slovakian. The Turin based club are continuing to press for the 27-year-old Frenchman and continue to press on to resign the player from Manchester United.
