Hellas Verona’s Marash Kumbulla is one of several players that Fiorentina have identified as a transfer target as they look to revolutionise their defence in the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of La Nazione.

The Italian born Albanian international is amongst the most promising players currently plying his trade in Serie A and could be brought in to replace either Germain Pezzella or Nikola Milenkovic, who La Viola are considering selling.

Kumbulla has also drawn strong links to the likes of Inter, Napoli and Lazio amongst others and reports have suggested that Hellas Verona president Maurizio Setti wants around €30 million for the 20-year-old central defender.

Kumbulla, who has had his first team breakthrough at the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi club this term, has made 19 appearances across all competitions to date. In just shy of 1600 minutes on the park, he has scored one goal and helped the team to keep many clean sheets.
