Both Inter and Barcelona are unwilling to drag negotiations over Lautaro Martinez on for too long according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The two clubs have been in talks for some time now over the highly rated 22-year-old Argentine national team striker but there is still some distance between the clubs.

Barcelona have already seen a €50 million plus two players offer rejected by the Nerazzurri, who responded by saying Junior Firpo is a welcome as part payment as well as the cash element must be raised.

Inter have reportedly made it clear to the Blaugrana club that if they are unwilling to pay his €111 million release clause then they will have to pay at least €90 million plus a player or two.

This season Lautaro has made 31 appearances across all competitions to date. In his time on the pitch, the former Racing Club player has netted 16 goals and has tallied four assists.
