Inter want to bring Zinho Vanheusden back to the club in the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report from the online edition of Belgian news outlet Het Laatste Nieuws.

The highly rated young Belgian centre back joined the Belgian Pro League side on a permanent basis from Inter this past Summer following a loan spell and as part of the deal Inter secured an option to buy him back for a sum of €15 million.

Inter management have been keeping a close eye on how the youngster has developed at the Stade Maurice Dufrasne and his performances have convinced Inter management to bring him back.

The report goes on to explain that Vanheusden’s representatives have refused to deny the interest from Italy and rule out a possible return but they have also refused to rule out the possibility of the 20-year-old staying with Standard Liege.

This season Vanheusden has made 28 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored two goals in just over 2300 minutes on the park.
