Inter are in talks with Sassuolo to try and get a discount to sign Stefano Sensi on a permanent basis according to a report from Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb.

Sensi joined the Nerazzurri club on a season long loan this past Summer at a cost of €5 million and as part of the deal Inter obtained an option to buy him outright for a sum of €20 million.

Inter wish to sign Sensi on a permanent basis and due to the Coronavirus crisis, Inter and Sassuolo are negotiating and the report goes on to state that the inclusion of a player or players cannot be excluded which would allow for the cash sum to be reduced.

The 24-year-old Italian national team midfielder has made 17 appearances across all competitions to date. In just over 1000 minutes on the park, Sensi has scored three goals and has also provided a total of four assists for his teammates.
