Inter youngster Emerson Espinoza’s agent has admitted that the club are currently happy with his client in an interview with Ecuadorian radio station Area Deportiva FM earlier on today.

The 19-year-old joined Inter’s Primavera side on loan for the remainder of the season back in the January transfer window from fellow Serie A side Parma but is yet to play a game for them yet due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

Despite not being able to play any games, the former Boston River player has still managed to impress the Nerazzurri with what he has done in training.

“Last week they did the tests at Inter, at the moment there is no official confirmation that Emerson Espinoza will join the first team but Inter are happy with him, they know how important he is.”

Inter, as per a report in recent months, have an option to be able to sign Espinoza on a permanent basis for a sum of €300,000 and it now remains to be seen whether the Nerazzurri will take up the option to sign the defensive midfielder, who is part of Ecuador’s under 20 national team.
