Only one of Paris Saint-Germain’s Edinson Cavani and RB Leipzig’s Timo Werner will arrive at Inter in the coming months according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Inter have been heavily linked with making moves for both players ahead of the upcoming Summer transfer window and both players want a starting berth, something that will not be possible as Romelu Lukaku will continue to occupy one of the two starting striker spots.

One of Cavani or Werner could arrive to be a starter alongside Lukaku and then Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio will look to someone else to fill the role of back-up.

The report from the Turin based newspaper also goes on to state that there is divided opinion at Inter when it comes to the potential signing of Arturo Vidal.

Inter manager Antonio Conte would like the Chilean brought in but Marotta is understood to have several doubts about the former Juventus midfielder.
