Finding an agreement on the extension of expiring contracts and loan deals will be complex, a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport has warned.

With seasons postponed, some cancelled, some back underway and some hopeful of resuming soon, there is a lot of confusion when it comes to whether contracts and loan deals will still expire at the end of next month or not.

World football’s governing body FIFA, European football’s governing body UEFA and Italian football federation FIGC cannot get involved in legal agreements between parties, whether that be players and clubs or clubs with other clubs.

For the time being, it is currently up to the clubs to come to agreements with players with expiring contracts or clubs they have loaned players to or from.

Inter have a few players with expiring contracts and have many players out on loan namely the likes of Mauro Icardi and Ivan Perisic and at the moment clubs have a lot of questions that there does not appear to be answers for.
