Barring any unexpected complications, Lautaro Martinez will soon become a Barcelona player according to a report from the online edition of Spanish news outlet Marca.
The Inter striker is seemingly one of Barcelona’s top transfer targets ahead of the upcoming Summer transfer and is likely to be one of two players arriving at the club from Serie A, with the Blaugrana also in negotiations to sign Miralem Pjanic from Juventus.
Barcelona players, including Lionel Messi, as well as club management have all given their blessing for 22-year-old Lautaro to be brought to the club.
The fact Lautaro is the age that he is has made him further attractive to Barcelona who know that he will not only be able to contribute immediately but will also be able to make a difference for a long time into the future too.
This season the former Racing Club player has scored 16 goals and tallied four assists in 31 appearances across all competitions to date.
