Andrew Gravillon’s agent Oscar Damiani has confirmed that they will sit down with Inter in the coming months to work out what is the best solution for his future and has appeared to rule out a permanent switch to Sassuolo.

Gravillon re-joined Inter in January 2019 and was subsequently loaned back to Pescara for the remainder of the season. This past Summer he was loaned to fellow Serie A side Sassuolo but just a few weeks into that loan a decision was taken for him to be loaned to Serie B outfit Ascoli instead.

A few months back, a report suggested that there were several Serie A clubs keen on signing him this Summer but it is currently unclear what Inter’s intentions are for him.

“The talks with Sassuolo are closed, the boy is owned by Inter. Let’s see what will happen, at the moment everything is blocked, everything is at a standstill,” Damiani remarked in an interview with Italian news outlet Sassuolonews.net.

“After this year at Ascoli, we will, together with Inter, see what the best option will be for him. He has offers from France. We will see what the best solution will be.”

The Guadelopean has been near enough ever present since joining the Bianconeri club having appeared in all barring four of their matches to date. In 22 appearances across all competitions, the central defender has not contributed any goals or assists but has helped Ascoli keep five clean sheets.
