Former Barcelona and AC Milan sporting director Ariedo Braida has shared his belief that Inter striker Lautaro Martinez has all that it takes to be a Barcelona player.

The highly rated 22-year-old striker has been heavily linked with a potential Summer transfer window switch to the Blaugrana club and negotiations between the two clubs over him are ongoing.

He has a €111 million release clause but reports suggest the clubs are discussing a potential player or players plus cash deal for him.

“I really like Lautaro. He has a lot of quality and talent and scores many goals. In a nutshell, he has everything he needs to be a Barcelona player,” he remarked in an interview with Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo.

Braida then went on to reveal what he would do in negotiations if he were at Inter.

“If I were the Nerazzurri I would ask for Semedo or Arthur, who are two excellent players. I think the deal is feasible.”

The Argentine national team player, who has a contract with Inter until the end of the 2022/23 season, has made 31 appearances across all competitions to date this term. In his time on the park, the former Racing Club player has scored 16 goals and has provided a total of four assists for his teammates.
