Italian football journalist and Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio has claimed that in the coming days Inter and Paris Saint-Germain will come to an agreement over the permanent transfer of Mauro Icardi.

Icardi is currently out on loan at the French capital city club and the two clubs have been negotiating a permanent switch for a while now and Di Marzio has claimed that the two clubs are getting closer and closer to finalising a deal for him.

“The clubs are always working to find an agreement and the agreement is getting closer,” Di Marzio remarked whilst present in the Sky Sport Italia studios a short time ago.

“Negotiations between the clubs are going positively and I believe that by Sunday an agreement on the amount PSG will pay will be found.”

Whilst at the Parc des Princes club, Icardi, who has already agreed to a four year deal with Paris Saint-Germain, has made 31 appearances across all competitions to date.

In his time on the park the former Barcelona academy player has scored 20 goals and has also provided a total of five assists for his teammates.
