Inter have re-established contact with Hertha Berlin star Mattheus Cunha’s representatives according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, which was aired a short time ago.

Inter have been following the newly turned 21-year-old Brazilian sensation for several months now and have not been deterred by the fact he only just joined the German capital city club in the most recent January transfer window from fellow Bundesliga side RB Leipzig.

Cunha has been in sensational form since joining Hertha Berlin with him having notched four goals in six appearances across all competitions, in which he has also tallied a single assist.

The Brazilian under 23 national team player, who previously played for Swiss side FC Sion, has a contract with Hertha Berlin until the end of the 2023/24 season.

The report does not give any indication as to how much Inter may be forced to pay to bring Cunha to the club this Summer.
