Inter currently remain in the lead in the race to sign highly rated Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali according to a report from Italian news outlet CalcioMercato.com.

Juventus are right behind Inter in the race to land the recently turned 20-year-old midfielder, who is amongst the most highly rated young Italian players out there at the moment. Inter’s city rivals AC Milan are also involved in the race and are currently in third place.

Tonali has had a superb first season in Serie A and reports have suggested that Brescia president and owner Massimo Cellino is adamant to let him go for anything less than €50 million.

The Italian national team midfielder, whose contract with his current employers is up at the end of next season, has made 24 appearances across all competitions to date.

In just over 2100 minutes on the field, Tonali has scored a single goal and has also provided a handful of assists for his teammates.
