RB Leipzig tell Inter and Liverpool that they wont be offering any discounts on striker Timo Werner’s release clause according to a report from the online edition of German news outlet BILD.

The report goes on to state that Champions League holders Liverpool, are very interested in signing the German national team striker, but have reservations about paying his release clause, which will be determined by whether or not RB Leipzig win the Bundesliga.

If they are to win the Bundesliga it will be €60 million but if they do not win it, it will be €50 million. RB Leipzig have no intention of giving any discounts for the 24-year-old, who is under contract with them until the end of the 2022/23 season.

Inter have seemingly identified the former Stuttgart player as someone they could go in for in the event that Lautaro Martinez departs the club in the coming months.

This season Werner, has made 38 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored 30 goals and provided 12 assists.
