Hertha Berlin manager Bruno Labbadia has sang the praises of in-form Mattheus Cunha amid reports in the media linking him with a potential move away from the club.

The Brazilian youth national team striker has been in sublime form since his arrival in the German capital city in the most recent January transfer window with him having netted four goals and tallied a single assist in seven appearances across all competitions to date.

In the past few days reports have claimed that Inter have established contact with the newly turned 21-year-old’s representatives over a potential move to the club in the coming months.

A report in the media today has suggested that Inter may have to pay somewhere in the region of €30-35 million to land the former FC Sion star.

“He has enormous potential but he still has a lot of things to learn. He has the ability to always come up with something and despite not playing his best game, that is why we left him on the field,” Labbadia, who has been in charge since last month, remarked in his press conference today following Hertha Berlin’s 2-2 draw with Cunha’s former employers RB Leipzig yesterday.
