Inter and Paris Saint-Germain could strike an agreement over the permanent transfer of Mauro Icardi by Sunday according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, which was aired a short time ago.

Icardi is currently out on loan at the recently crowned French champions from Inter and the report explains that Paris Saint-Germain’s first offer consisted of €50 million upfront plus €10 million in add-ons and they are in the process of increasing it to strike a deal with the Nerazzurri.

The report goes on to add that with his comments yesterday, Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio wished to empower Inter striker Lautaro Martinez ahead of the season finale and also make it crystal clear that Inter will need a really tempting offer to even consider selling the highly rated 22-year-old.

Barcelona have been very strongly linked with him and despite the clubs having been in negotiations for some time, they still appear to be some way apart.
