Inter and Paris Saint-Germain should conclude a deal for Mauro Icardi this coming weekend according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset, which was aired a short time ago.

The two clubs have been in negotiations for some time and the 27-year-old Argentine striker is set to join the Ligue 1 outfit on a permanent basis having spent the past season out on loan at them.

Although Paris Saint-Germain had an option to buy him outright for €70 million, a deal will likely be finalised for a sum in the region of €60 million with easily achievable add-ons attached.

The report goes on to add that the deal should still be concluded this weekend despite the fact Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo is back in his native Brazil, where he is seeing his ill mother.

Whilst in the French capital city, Icardi has made 31 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored 20 goals and provided a handful of assists for his teammates.
