Panathinaikos’ Georgios Vagiannidis has rejected offers from Manchester City, LASK Linz, PAOK Thessaloniki and AS Monaco due to having his sights set on joining Inter according to a report from Italian news outlet PassioneInter.com.

Inter have offered the highly rated Greek youngster a three year contract with an annual salary of €300,000 and all that is preventing his move to Inter from taking place is the final details needing ironed out.

The report goes on to explain that once Vagiannidis has joined, he will start off in Antonio Conte’s first team but in all probability he will be loaned out to another Serie A club where he will be able to play regularly in order to get to grips with the league.

Vagiannidis made his first team debut for the Greek Super League club this season but every other appearance he has made has come at under 19 level. All in all he has made 17 appearances across all competitions, in which he has scored five goals and tallied one assist.
