Cristiano Biraghi’s agent Mario Giuffredi has admitted that he is unsure what the future holds for his client, who is currently out on loan at Inter.

The full back returned to the Nerazzurri, whose academy he graduated from, on a season long loan from fellow Serie A side Fiorentina this past Summer transfer window and there is great uncertainty with regard to his immediate future.

His loan deal is set to expire at the end of June but with the Serie A season set to resume on June 20, it remains to be seen what will happen with loan deals and expiring contracts.

“In the next few weeks everything will be defined. It is logical to think that loans should be extended until the end of the season,” Giuffredi began an interview with Italian radio station Radio Sportiva earlier on today.

“We have to wait and see what Inter’s ideas are. The situation will be defined in the next too months. It is currently too difficult and complex a situation to be able to make a prediction.”

Whilst on loan at Inter, Biraghi has made 24 appearances across all competitions to date. In his time on the field he has scored one goal and has provided a total of four assists for his teammates.
