Juventus are set to battle it out with Inter for Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal according to a report from the online edition of Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo.

The Bianconeri club have been in talks with Barcelona over a swap deal that would see Miralem Pjanic and Arthur exchanged but the Brazilian has informed both clubs that he wishes to stay where he is.

Ousmane Dembele could become the trade chip that Barcelona offer Juventus but the report goes on to explain that Juventus have asked for Vidal instead.

The Chilean national team player is no stranger to the Turin club having spent four seasons with them between 2011 and 2015 and he has also been heavily linked with a move to Inter, where he would be able to be reunited with Antonio Conte, who was his manager at Juventus.

This season Vidal has made 31 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored six goals and provided three assists.
