Inter and AC Milan are both disappointed with the decision to restart Italian football with the Coppa Italia, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The report details how the two clubs are still involved in the Coppa Italia, with both the semi-finals and final needing to be played. The two clubs are unhappy that the competition will be completed before Serie A is restarted, in part due to the extra physical commitments that the players will have to undergo.

Inter will also recover their game against Sampdoria on June 20th, the report continues, making them the only top club to have such a busy schedule. For this reason, the club are seriously considering sending the Primavera squad to play the game against Napoli. Both Beppe Marotta and Paolo Scaroni voted against the formula of the restart but lost out overall, with the format of cup then league being confirmed.
