Inter midfielder Matias Vecino trained without any problems yesterday having picked up a knee injury in the days prior according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The Uruguayan national team player did not over exert himself in training yesterday in order to avoid aggravating the issue which caused him to miss training on Wednesday.

The 28-year-old joined Inter in the Summer of 2017 in a €24 million deal from fellow Serie A club Fiorentina. Since his arrival at Inter, he has made 94 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored 11 goals and tallied six assist for his teammates.

Vecino looked set to depart in the most recent January transfer window but in the final days Inter pulled him off of the transfer market.

In the past few days however reports have emerged that Inter could let Vecino leave the club in he coming months for a fee in the region of €22-25 million.
