The Italian football federation has found a solution regarding players’ contracts and the expiry dates of them, following on from the guidelines given by FIFA and UEFA, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The report details how FIFA suggested that there should be agreements to extend loan deals and contracts that expire will instead end at the end of the season, with UEFA saying that European squads should be left the same until the end of the season.

The FIGC has decided to extend the season, the report continues, and so in turn extend all the contracts until the end of the season. It’s now up to clubs and players to reach their various agreements individually. Many players are involved in this situation, including Inter owned midfielder Radja Nainggolan, who is currently on loan at Cagliari. The Rossoblu are keen to keep the Belgian midfielder.
