Fiorentina and Torino are both interested in signing Inter midfielder Roberto Gagliardini, but the Italian wants to stay in Milan, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

The report details how the former Atalanta midfielder has two months to confirm his spot in the squad, or he could see his time in Milan come to an early end. The 26-year-old Italian is contracted to the Nerazzurri until 2023 but could be sold in the summer with both Fiorentina and Torino interested in signing the player.

Gagliardini has always impressed coach Antonio Conte, the report continues. Inter value him at around €20-25 million, but the 26-year-old has no interest in the rumours and wants to stay in Milan and be a part of Conte’s project.

The player has made 16 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1018 minutes. In that time, he has scored two goals and provided two assists.
