Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin reported that Inter CEO Beppe Marotta has no intention of leaving Inter despite the rumours that he is looking to leave the club, in a post on Twitter earlier today.

Rumours have been circulating that Marotta is feeling heavy amounts of stress and pressure at Inter in the last few weeks, which have made the executive consider leaving the club. Marotta quickly snuffed out these rumours, saying to Biasin: “Me nervous? Actually, I’ve never been calmer.”

Marotta has been working hard to create a new project at Inter, working alongside vice president Javier Zanetti and president Steven Zhang.

The executives secured the signature of former Italy and Chelsea coach Antonio Conte last summer, and trusted the Lecce born coach to lead the squad rebuild and future project. The club’s management have been satisfied with the work of Conte so far this season and are looking to invest into the squad in the summer in order to close the gap with Juventus.
