A deal between Inter and Barcelona over Lautaro Martinez is more likely to happen than unlikely but it is not imminent according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, which was broadcast a short time ago.

Although Inter have been able to sort out their accounts with thanks to the €58 million sale of former club captain Mauro Icardi to Paris Saint-Germain over the weekend, their stance remains the same in that they are in no hurry to sell Lautaro.

The report explains that Lautaro probably will move to Barcelona in the end but only under certain conditions.

Barcelona want to reduce the cost of a deal by including players but Inter will at most accept one player being included as they want to get as much cash as possible for the 22-year-old.

This season Lautaro has made 31 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored 16 goals and provided four assists to his teammates.
