In an interview with Italian radio station Radio Sportiva earlier on today, Italian football journalist Fabrizio Biasin has addressed a number of Inter related topics and started by discussing their pursuit of Brescia’s Sandro Tonali.

“If Inter sign Tonali, they will be making a huge signing. The feeling is that he is a player of superior calibre,” Biasin began.

“Tonali is compatible with anyone. He can still be moulded as he is so young and capable. In my opinion he could do well in Inter’s side with or without Brozovic, in a competitive team you need both.”

Biasin then went on to discuss Mauro Icardi’s recent permanent switch from Inter to Paris Saint-Germain which took place in the last few days.

“Icardi has left and Inter made a capital gain. It was a masterpiece of a deal because it satisfied everyone. The anti-Italy return clause? It is a very intelligent way for Inter to protect themselves but I think Icardi’s desire is to continue in Paris.”

He proceeded to discuss Lautaro Martinez, who continues to be heavily linked with a potential move to Barcelona in the upcoming transfer window.

“For Lautaro let’s see what happens. I think he has already decided he wants to play with Messi and that Barcelona convinced him with a lot of money, but they must find the right price. Basically, it is always wrong to keep a player who doesn’t want to stay.”

Next Biasin dismissed claims that have been made in the media that Inter will play their Primavera side against Napoli in the second leg of the Coppa Italia.

“Inter are to play their Primavera in Naples? It is an urban myth, the Primavera team is not even training. It seems like bulls**t to me.”

Biasin then went on to discuss Inter’s teen sensation Sebastiano Esposito and a potential move he could make in the coming months.

“There is talk of him joining Brescia on loan as part of the Tonali deal. Inter want to give him the opportunity to find space and play consistently.”

In conclusion, Biasin spoke on Radja Nainggolan and the probability of him being handed a second chance by Inter upon his return from his loan with Cagliari.

“Maybe he will get another chance, I don’t know. It sounds strange to me. I don’t see him as a starer. I think he would also prefer a solution where he would be used more. It seems difficult for him to be in Conte’s squad next year.”
