Inter manager Antonio Conte has been working the team very hard as he wants to be quick out of the blocks once the season gets back underway according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

The season has been on hold for close to three months now due to the Coronavirus crisis but is set to return in the coming weeks.

The work Conte has put the players through has taken its toll on some of them, namely Matias Vecino, Stefan de Vrij, Alessandro Bastoni and Diego Godin and the report explains that there have been some grumbles amongst the players due to the unexpected heavy load of work.

Aside from wanting to be quick out the blocks, starting with overturning the first leg Coppa Italia semi final defeat to Napoli, Conte has also worked the team hard due to wanting everyone at a similar fitness level as rotation will be required given the amount of games left to play and the close proximity of them all.
