Lucien Agoume’s contract extension with Inter until 2025 is practically a formality according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.
Inter signed Agoume last Summer from FC Sochaux but due to him not being eligible to sign a professional deal, the club could only sign him to a three year deal but made a promise to him to sign him to a long term professional deal when he turned 18-years-old.
The French midfielder, who Inter pipped the likes of Manchester United, Barcelona, Manchester City and others to, turned 18 in the past few months and can now put pen to paper on a professional deal with the club.
Agoume has impressed in his first year at Inter where he has mainly played at youth level. To help aid his development as a player, Inter could loan him out next season.
The report goes on to explain that some clubs have already enquired about talking him on loan and both Parma and St Etienne are closely following him.
