A move for Atletico Madrid’s Alvaro Morata is too expensive for Inter according to a report from Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, which was aired a short time ago.
The Nerazzurri have reportedly shown an interest in the Spanish national team striker as a potential replacement for Barcelona linked Lautaro Martinez but this report suggests that the Nerazzurri will not be making any move for the 27-year-old.
Morata is currently out on loan at Atletico Madrid from Premier League side Chelsea and is expected to be purchased outright for €55 million meaning he will cost at least that to sign and he also has an annual salary of €10 million, which is too much for Inter.
The former Juventus striker has made 32 appearances across all competitions to date this term. In his time on the park, which totals just over 2300 minutes, he has scored a total of 13 goals and provided three assists for his teammates.
