Inter’s Italian wingback Antonio Candreva stopped by Italian broadcaster RAI Sport moments ago, to share his thoughts going into the second leg of the Coppa Italia semifinal at the Stadio San Paolo in Naples, with kick off scheduled for 21.00 CET.
The former Lazio man underlined that although the circumstances are not ideal and slightly unusual given that the match is being played behind closed doors, the Nerazzurri players have prepared well for the match against a dangerous Napoli side.
“It is not the best situation, playing like these is not ideal and we have already experienced it once Turin [against Juventus]. But we are prepared also for this, we return to the pitch after a long time.
“We are ready, we know that we are facing off against a strong and difficult opponent. We have prepared well and we will play an attacking game.”
Napoli won the first leg of the Coppa Italia semifinal back in February 12th, at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milan 1-0 thanks to a goal in the 57th minute by Spanish midfielder Fabian Ruiz.
Antonio Candreva joined Inter in the summer of 2016 from Lazio for a reported fee of around €22 million. The former Biancocelesti man has since then featured 137 times for the Nerazzurri across all competitions scoring 15 goals in the process.
