The remainder of the Europa League is to be carried out in Germany according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, which was aired a short time ago.

Inter’s last 16 tie with Getafe as well as Roma’s with Sevilla will become single leg ties and the quarter finals will be played between August 10 and 21 with the games to be spread out across four German cities.

Duisburg, Gelsenkirchen, Düsseldorf and Cologne are the cities where matches will be carried out and further details are expected to arrive shortly.

The UEFA executive committee are set to meet in the coming days and news should come from that meeting, which is scheduled to take place on Wednesday.

The report also states that the format of the Champions League is also set to change as a result of the Coronavirus crisis. The remainder of the Champions League appears set to be carried out in Portugal with the exception of the second leg ties between Juventus and Lyon as well as Barcelona and Napoli.
