Inter Considering Replacing Lautaro Martinez With Either Torino’s Belotti Or Arsenal’s Aubameyang

Torino’s Andrea Belotti and Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are both being considered by Inter as potential replacements for Lautaro Martinez according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Lautaro has continually found himself linked with a potential transfer to Barcelona and Inter have made it clear to the Blaugrana that if they want him prior to July 7, they must pay his €111 million release clause.

If Barcelona do not activate his release clause, the report explains that the two clubs could possibly negotiate a deal which would not necessarily total €111 million.

The report goes on to add that Inter management are keen on replacing him with Aubameyang if he departs whilst Inter manager Antonio Conte is said to prefer Belotti.

The fact Aubameyang’s contract expires at the end of next season means Arsenal will not be able to demand too much for him whilst Inter have also enquired about Belotti and could well do a deal for the Italian including a player or players such as Radja Nainggolan, Andrea Pinamonti or Roberto Gagliardini.
