FC Luzern striker Darian Males’ agent Gezim Ibrahimi has poured cold water on a report in the media suggesting Inter have won the race to sign his client.

A report emerged in the media earlier on today which suggested that the Nerazzurri had beaten competition from fellow Serie A side Atalanta as well as Spanish outfit Valencia to sign the highly rated Swiss youngster.

“We have not yet received an official offer from Inter,” Ibrahimi explained in an interview with Swiss news outlet Nau.ch.

Males is a product of the Swiss Super League sides academy and is in his second season as part of the first team at the Swissporarena.

Males, who is a Swiss under 19 national team representative, has made 22 appearances across all competitions to date, the majority of which he has played as an attacking midfielder, although he is capable of playing as a striker and out on the wing too.

During his time on the park, he has netted two goals and provided four assists for his teammates.
