FC Luzern manager Fabio Celestini has admitted that he has heard nothing with regard to Inter being interested in signing Darian Males.

A report emerged in the Italian media earlier on today which stated Inter have won the race to sign the 19-year-old Swiss youth national team player having fended off competition from fellow Serie A outfit Atalanta and La Liga side Valencia.

“I haven’t heard anything about it so far. I would be very happy for Males,” Celestini, who has been in charge at the Swiss Super League side since January this year, explained in an interview with Swiss news outlet Nau.ch.

Males is in his second season as part of the first team at FC Luzern and has a contract with them through to the end of the 2021/22 season.

Males, who holds dual Swiss and Serbian citizenship, has made 22 appearances across all competitions to date this term and in his time on the park he has scored two goals and provided four assists for his teammates.
