Inter have made an enquiry to Barcelona regarding Jean-Clair Todibo according to a report from the online edition of French news outlet FranceFootball.
The highly rated young Frenchman is currently out on loan at Bundesliga side FC Schalke and the Gelsenkirchen based club have decided against taking up their option to sign him on a permanent basis for €25 million.
Inter have asked about the former Tolouse defender and there is a possibility that he may be included in Barcelona’s bid to sign Inter striker Lautaro Martinez.
Barcelona have been courting Lautaro for a considerable amount of time but have so far been unable to reach Inter’s demands for the 22-year-old.
It now remains to be seen if Barcelona could tempt Inter into dealing the Argentine national team striker by offering Todibo as part of any deal.
Whilst on loan at Schalke, Todibo has made 13 appearances across all competitions to date and has failed to make any goal contributions in his time on the park.
