A sum of €20 million currently separates Inter and Barcelona in talks over striker Lautaro Martinez according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Barcelona, who have a long standing interest in signing the 22-year-old Argentine, have thus far offered €70 million whilst Inter are continuing to demand €90 million.

Barcelona are looking to do a player plus cash deal for Lautaro with the player being Junior Firpo, who Barcelona value at €41 million.

Inter however disagree with the reigning Spanish champions evaluation of the full back and believe he is worth a maximum of €20 million.

Should Barcelona agree to value Firpo at Inter’s evaluation, the report explains that Inter may even drop their cash demands down to €80 million.

It also states that at no point will Inter agree to receive two players plus cash for the Argentine national team player, who has scored 16 goals and tallied four assists in 32 appearances.
