Inter have confirmed that midfielder Stefano Sensi has sustained an injury to his femoral biceps muscle in his right thigh via an official statement posted on the club’s website.

The Italian national team midfielder picked up the injury in training yesterday, when Inter trained at San Siro ahead of this weekend’s match against Sampdoria, and his condition was evaluated earlier on today at the Humanitas Institute of Rozzano.

This is the latest in a long line of injury issues that Sensi has encountered during this season and the club have confirmed that his condition will be reevaluated again next week thus meaning he will not be available for selection to Inter manager Antonio Conte for the Sampdoria clash.

Sensi joined Inter on a season long loan with option to buy this past Summer from fellow Serie A side Sassuolo. Since then he has made 18 appearances, in which he has scored three goals and tallied four assists.
