Inter are interested in signing Manchester City full back Kyle Walker, but the Citizens have no interest in losing the player, according to a report from English tabloid The Sun earlier today.

The report details how the Nerazzurri are interested in the 30-year-old English full back, who is contracted to the Sky Blues until 2024.

The player has been under fire in recent months for personal issues off the pitch and the Milanese club are hoping to take advantage of the situation by making an offer for Walker.

The idea has been vetoed by coach Pep Guardiola, the report continues, as he doesn’t want to lose the 30-year-old English full back.

Instead, City would prefer to sell former Nerazzurri full back Joao Cancelo, who has disappointed in his debut season in the Premier League. The Milanese club have no interest in a reunion with the Portuguese right back. Walker has scored one goal and provided four assists in 31 appearances this season.
